PECAN PIE CAKE

Step # 1    PIE CRUST:

1 pkg Duncan Hines Butter Cake mix, 2/3 c cake mix
less  2/3 cup 1/2 c brown sugar
2 sticks oleo, melted 1 1/2 c light karo syrup
1 egg 1 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
 

Mix ingredients for pie crust and pour into 9 x 13 inch pan.  Pat in shape like a pie crust.  Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.  Mix ingredients in step # 2 and pour over baked crust.  Sprinkle with one cup chopped pecans and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
