
LEMON SUGAR COOKIES

1/2 cup Crisco |
1/3 tsp baking soda |
| 1 c sugar | 1/2 tsp salt |
| 1 egg | 1 tsp baking powder |
| 1 tsp lemon extract | 2 c flour |
| 1 T lemon juice & 1 T lemon rind | |

Cream Crisco with sugar and add remaining ingredients. Roll a teaspoon of dough in the palms of both hands ( the size of a walnut ). Flatten each ball with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Bake 8 minutes in 350 degree oven.
