
SNICKERDOODLES

| 1/2 cup shortening | 2 teaspoons cream of tartar |
| 1/2 cup Fleishman's margarine | 1 teaspoon soda |
| 1 1/2 cup sugar | 1/4 teaspoon salt |
| 2 eggs | 2 tablespoons sugar |
| 2 3/4 cup flour | 2 teaspoons cinnamon |
| Mix shortening, margarine, sugar and eggs thoroughly. Blend in flour, tartar, soda and salt, mixing well. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in a mixture of 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees. These cookies will puff up and then fatten out. Makes 6 dozen. Yum ! | |
